Shipping: starts in March- weather dependent. Southern states first and Northern Mid-West is usually last. Keep in mind we are in the mountains of NC= colder than the rest of the South. Also our soil is very rocky, so some tubers are funny shapes.
All tubers are individually, double checked for what we believe to be nice viable eyes. (shipping in April- March means they may not be visible to you. Please give them 6 weeks to sprout) If damaged, take photos asap.
We ship by region, weather and first come, first serve. We can not schedule shipments.
For your success, please make sure to store your tubers carefully at 40-50°F. in a high humidity area, until planted. We suggest planting or potting ASAP. Once planted, make sure they are 60°F+.
You will receive tubers in paper bags, individually marked. Please unpack carefully. The name abbreviations on your order and packing slip will match your tubers. Sometimes we add a few smaller freebies of your selected varieties.
The shipping cost is added near the end of checkout. Pick-ups are scheduled for the 1st Sunday in March and April.
Shipping is via USPS, in a priority box. Full correct mailing addresses & Phone are now required. Otherwise, your order will be delayed for weeks.
