Chrysanthemum -plug and unrooted cuttings for shipping USA

Picture
We've been growing and propagation Mums for over 5 years.  Now we are trialing shipping cuttings and small plants.
We grow useable  cut flower Chrysanthemums. Most are taller disbuds and always attractive.  Subtle colors for florist and weddings. We stick to the productive ones, not huge, just really dependable varieties.(sign up for the newsletter for pinching info)

  • Our Mums in Zone 6, bloom September- October, very few bloom later (a few of the newest not for sale ones) We choose these varieties because our wedding season ends in October along with hard freezes. (especially important to you if you are growing in outdoor pots (use 2-3 gallon pots)
  • You should look up the varieties to be sure they work for you.
  • All are shipping in soilless mix or completely soilless.
  • We hope to be inspected by the state before we start to ship.
  • Shady Grove is a member of the Central Carolina Mum Society and the National Chrysanthemum Society
  • In addition Susan's background as a botanist gives her a leg up on disease prevention and detection. We do our best.
  • 3 Ways to purchase Chrysanthemums this year. Unrooted cuttings, small and medium plugs (38 and 50 size) and Quart size.
  • Two things to know about these well rooted Qt. pots. Most ended up unlabeled oops, they are expensive to ship. Only about 3 fit in a medium USPS flat rate priority box.
  • All versions are shipped without a pot, and are trimmed back. Please be ready to plant. Don't blame us if you don't unpack and plant the same day.
  • Unrooted cuttings will be the least expensive. Limited to about 5 varieties this season.
  • Sale Items, varieties & photos will be added over the next few weeks.

Chrysanthemums available as mixed packages this year. all include some unknowns
