Entrance to Farm Day 9/25 - 3-6 pm
What to expect: We are the a flower farm. What you will see is rough rocky terrain and 3-state views, plus wildlife habitat. This is much different than a mowed park or botanical garden. We have electric fences and barbed wire, stakes, rows and lots of 'weeds'. It's wild and but mostly open.
•Shady Grove Gardens is on the NC Birding trail and every winter we spend time maintaining shrubby habitat for the rare Golden Winged Warbler.
Enjoy peak season for our Hydrangea. Come see all our Dahlias and other cut flowers. Choose colors for future events.
(the High tunnels/greenhouses are not part of the tour due to tight paths)
•We expect to have Lavender and rosemary plants available for purchase.
• Pick your own is available for Dahlias. Mason jars are $20 and buckets (50) stems @$75
•Entrance fee to our Flower Farm Day. 8/28/20, @$6 Per person. The entrance fee goes into our wildlife habitat maintenance fund. Call if you need directions. 828-297-4098.
